


Warranty
This warranty only applies to:
the original owner of the bike;
bicycles that are assembled by Darkhorse Bikes; and
On presentation of the original proof of purchase together with the defective part.
3 Years
Darkhorse Bikes warrants all Darkhorse branded components including the frame, rigid fork and wheels of each new Darkhorse Bicycle to be free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of three years from the original date of purchase.
2 Years
Electric bike motor, controller and battery pack for a period of 2 years from the original date of purchase.
6 Months
All other components are warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty or for a period of 6 months from the original date of purchase whichever is the longer, even if packaged or sold with Darkhorse Bikes products.
This Warranty Does Not Cover
Normal wear and tear
Bicycles that are not used for their intended purpose
Improper assembly, including, but not limited to a bicycle that is assembled by the consumer or unauthorised mechanic or third party.
Corrosion
Improper maintenance
Installation of components, parts, or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the bicycle as sold
Damage or failure due to accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect
Labour charges for part replacement or changeover
Non-proprietary products (any other original part or component) covered by the original manufacturer’s warranty
Bikes used for commercial activities, including those in rental, demo or security fleets
This warranty is void in its entirety by any modification of the frame, fork, or components. This warranty is expressly limited to the repair or replacement of a defective item at the manufacturer’s discretion in line with the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. Darkhorse Bikes are not responsible for incidental or consequential damages unless prohibited by local laws. Claims made outside the country of original purchase may be subject to fees and additional restrictions. Warranty duration and detail may vary by country. The English version of the warranty shall prevail.
